Just 25 pallets per week being recycled through West Coast Pallets & Crates will divert 26 tonnes of timber from waste every year.
As part of our sustainability commitments, we work to minimise timber waste and create a circular economy. Part of this includes our pallet recycling program.
Typically this will be pallets that cannot be repaired effectively, or other timber scrap from the manufacturing and repair processes. Working with local wood recycling companies, this potential waste is diverted from landfill and made into wood chips and other products including industrial charcoal, sawdust, and animal bedding.
All of our timber for crates, pallets, gluts and other products is sourced from sustainable origins. As WA’s only PEFC certified pallet & crates manufacturer, we guarantee that all our manufactured products come from verified supply chains to support responsible forest management and ethical practices.
Pallet Recycling Service
From our location in Bibra Lake, Perth WA, we can collect and recycle pallets from our clients to help divert broken pallets from landfill and give them another useful life. Our pallet recycling service is second to none.
